Alexandra (“Lexie”) White earned her baccalaureate degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University and her law degree from Louisiana State University. In law school, she served as the Executive Senior Editor of the Louisiana Law Review in addition to graduating first in her class. Upon graduation, she clerked for Judge Jay S. Bybee of the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Lexie is licensed to practice law in Louisiana and Texas.

Along with her impressive array of academic accomplishments, Lexie is a graduate of the Witherspoon Fellowship Program, where she and her peers were developed as leaders for public service in culture and society.

Currently, she is a partner at Susman Godfrey, L.L.P., an elite nationwide trial litigation firm, where she has worked for the last nine years. Lexie specializes in high stakes complex commercial litigation of all types.  She has tried cases for plaintiffs involving patent infringement, actuarial malpractice and breach of contract, among others, while also defending clients in wage and hour class actions and complex, multi-party environmental litigation. She currently resides in Houston, Texas, where she attends River Oaks Baptist Church with her husband, Jason Dunahoe, and three children, Marshall, Barrett and Amelia.  She is grateful for the friendships she made during the Witherspoon Fellowship.
