Jordan Fonville

ENS (sel) Jordan Fonville graduated from the United States Coast Guard Academy with a major in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. In his time within the major, he was offered the opportunity to present his capstone project at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA. In addition, Jordan held a number of different leadership positions in his time at the academy. These positions included Morale Department Master-At-Arms, Morale Department Head, and Assistant Prayer Team Leader within Officers’ Christian Fellowship. While Morale Department Head, Jordan was responsible for over $25,000 dedicated to morale for the Corps of Cadets. As Assistant Prayer Team Leader, he helped to facilitate weekly prayer meetings as well as a public gathering for National Prayer Day. Upon graduating the Coast Guard Academy, Jordan will report to the USCGC MIDGETT (WHEC-726) for duties as a Student Engineer.
A native of Clinton, MD, Jordan spent his last 3 years of high school at Oxon Hill High School in Oxon Hill, MD in the Science and Technology magnet program. As a highly involved member of the Air Force JROTC program, Jordan served as first-in-command his senior year. In this command position, Jordan not only lead a corps of over 500 students, but he also became very involved with the local community as a professional extension of the school’s administration.
