President, Virginia Family Foundation
Richmond, Virginia
By the time she joined the Institute board, Alumna Victoria Cobb ’99 was in her 10th year as president of the Virginia Family Foundation, where she had originally begun work as an intern in a position she secured through the John Jay Institute’s Global Leadership Network. She stands before busy Virginia lawmakers and speaks the truth plainly and persuasively, in defense of families and children, life, and liberty. In 2007, she was named one of Richmond’s “Top 40 under 40” by Style Weekly newspaper. She also received the “Character Does Count” Award from the Patriot Republican Women’s Club and the 2014 Paul Weyrich Faith Community Leader of the Year award. She and her attorney husband Matt are raising four children, aged one to seven.
