Katherine “Kittie” Helmick is a writer, speaker, and designer who collaborates with idea people to overcome obstacles and realize their creative visions. She believes in "doing what should be done," "for in due season we will reap a harvest, if we do not give up."
Kittie grew up traveling the world as the daughter of an Army officer. She has visited five continents and speaks Spanish fluently. Traveling at an early age inspired her to seek new experiences and perspectives while investing in strong local community.
Kittie is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Salt and Iron: Seasoned Writing, an online magazine dedicated to aspiring authors and their transition from personal and academic writing to publishing for an audience. She has recruited 20+ authors to publish over 100 essays on religion, politics, culture, art, and philosophy.
Kittie holds a B.A. in Art with a Spanish minor and concentration in U.S. Politics from Hillsdale College.
