Chad Ziemer graduated in May of 2022 from University of Saint Thomas (UST) in Minnesota with a double major in B.A. Music and Criminal Justice, as well as a double minor in Theology and Aerospace Studies. In addition to academics, Chad was heavily involved in the Air Force ROTC program at UST known as Detachment 410. In spring semester of 2022, Chad led the detachment of 60 cadets as the Cadet Wing Commander.

Holding a reserves slot to Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT) at Laughlin Air Force Base, Chad hopes to become a fighter pilot. Because the Air Force Reserves offers Chad a unique opportunity to live in one location long-term, Chad looks forward to becoming involved in a local community church and raising a family.

An avid trumpet player since the age of 10 years old, Chad enjoys making music in the classical, jazz, and contemporary styles. He regularly plays trumpet on the worship team at his home church in Minnesota. Chad also loves exploring the beauty of God’s creation, frequently going on trips to the National Parks and Boundary Waters of Minnesota.
