John was a former atheist and saved at USCGA. John became very involved with Officers Christian Fellowship his junior year. Daily reading, fellowship, and discipleship, were formative for his Re-birth and understanding his new Salvation through Christ. Understanding the need for Christian community (Matthew 18:20), and exposure to God's Word (Romans 10:17), John started a Bible study for the Football team, and helped establish multiple parallel sports team studies on base, through which, many Believed.
At the Saratoga Fellows program, John hopes to mature as an officer Chritian, and further develop ethics and morals in keeping with the Word of God and the traditions of commissioned officers of the United States of America.
