Noah Schuetz graduated with honors from the University of Saint Thomas (UST) in St. Paul Minnesota with a B.S. in mechanical engineering and a minor in theology. He commissioned as a Second Lieutenant into the United States Air Force from AFROTC Detachment 410. He will serve as a Space Operations Officer and will transfer into the United States Space Force upon arrival at his first assignment.

At UST, Noah was active in Campus Outreach. This was formative for his understanding of the Christian faith, how it applies to his life, and how to minister to others. He led small groups on campus and for two summer projects in South Carolina. In summer 2019, he went on a mission trip to Bangkok where he taught English with Thai missionaries. Understanding the need for Christian community and leaders of character, he started a Valor movement as part of Cru to minister to ROTC Cadets and Midshipmen, leading it for four years.

At the Saratoga Fellow’s program, Noah hopes to build a solid ethical and moral foundation so that he can faithfully and effectively serve as a leader in the military governed by God’s Word. He wants to serve Christ in every aspect of his life, intending to use his first assignment to determine whether God is calling him to continue serving in a military service or to pursue seminary and full-time work as a chaplain, pastor, or missionary.
