Laura Gorceac of Northern California began her higher education at Thrive School, equipping her in leadership and discipleship. There she pursued her degree while working in ministry at her home church. She continued on to graduate Summa Cum Laude from Biola University in the Spring of 2022 with a B.A in Political Science and a minor in Biblical Studies. Laura graduated as a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Honors Society. During her time at Biola she helped lead the Professional Women’s society as Social Media Director and Coordinator. Her education and support from her professors inspired Laura to continue on the path of education and involvement in public service. In her senior year, Laura interned for California’s 48th Congressional District Office. After college, she gained local level experience interning for Placer County’s Community Development Resource Agency. 

In the summers, she enjoys working with horses and exploring the outdoors of the West.  After John Jay, Laura is interested in exploring the field of international relations. Additionally, she looks forward to upholding our nation's founding principles and protecting religious freedom. Laura hopes to serve God through missions one day.
