Elizabeth Kelly is a recent graduate of Dallas Baptist University in August 2024. She has carved out a distinctive path defined by intellectual rigor and passion for the liberal arts. Her academic journey began at The King’s College, where she spent her early college years before transferring to DBU. There, her interest in grand strategy and the complexities of international relations flourished.
Elizabeth interned with a grant consultant, where she became aware of institutional and organizational evaluation. During her time at the World Affairs Council of Dallas-Fort Worth, she developed her skills as a programs intern, immersing herself in global diplomacy and policy. This experience deepened her understanding of the strategic forces that shape our world, fueling her desire to receive training in international law.
Elizabeth’s academic pursuits reflect her dedication to understanding the broader implications of geopolitical strategies. Her senior paper, a comprehensive study of American policy during the Soviet-Afghan War, exemplifies her commitment to dissecting historical events with a strategic lens, seeking to uncover lessons that remain relevant in today’s complex global landscape.
Beyond her focus on modern geopolitics, Elizabeth’s intellectual curiosity extends to the ancient world.
