Hometown: Doylestown PA
College: Grove City College
Degree: B.A., Political Science

Michael Love graduated cum laude from Grove City College in May 2022 with a degree in Political Science, minoring in Philosophy and Biblical and Religious studies. Inspired by a love of literature and an admiration for stalwart intellectual defenders of Christianity and Western Tradition such as C.S. Lewis and G.K. Chesterton, Michael looks forward to furthering his understanding of that tradition through his studies during the John Jay Fellowship Program.

During his time at Grove City College, Michael participated in many different sectors of campus life. He served as Executive Citations editor for the Grove City College Journal of Law and Public Policy during his senior year, after having served as an associate editor his sophomore and junior years. He was the Executive Editor and a founding member of Cogitare magazine, a student-run publication that published articles from students and professors regarding politics, culture, and theology. He also was a member of Grove City College’s Touring Choir and a frequent participant in intermural sports.

Michael will remember his time at Grove City College as a time of tremendous spiritual formation and growth, instilling in him the love of learning and Christian community that has drawn him to the John Jay Fellowship Program. During the Summer of 2022, Michael has been working as a Government Relations Intern for the Heritage Foundation in Washington D.C. After John Jay, he plans to attend law school in the fall of 2023.
