Sarah George

Fall 2022 John Jay Fellow

Hometown: Indianapolis, IN
College: Georgetown University
Degree: B.S., International Affairs

Sarah Christine George hails from Indianapolis, Indiana and is a Theta Alpha Kappa graduate of Georgetown University with a B.S. in International Affairs (though she knows exceedingly little about IA and spent the preponderance of her time studying Christianity, apologetics, and literature).

During university, Sarah was active in Chi Alpha and Campus Outreach’s student ministries, worked the front desk at Lauinger Library, and participated in The American Enterprise Institute’s (AEI) Executive Council Program. While off for COVID-year, she got to work on the floor of her local Walmart in the Online Grocery Pickup Department pushing the big blue cart and fatiguing her pedometer. She also interned at the Trinity Forum and AEI’s Initiative on Faith and Public Life, which were both absolute highlights of her time in D.C. When in D.C., she is a member of Capitol Hill Baptist Church (where she’s met many wonderful John Jay alums!).

Her hopes vocationally are to generally do her utmost for God’s glory but also particularly to do her best on the LSAT so that she can go to a great law school with minimal debt, become a book contract attorney, and advocate for people who want to tell stories. She’s a bit of a judge in her own cause on that front because she also really hopes to be a published Young Adult novelist someday. Lord willing! Until then, she exercises her apologetics and storytelling muscles on her personal blog.
